Somehow, I had a good day today, despite the trainwreck that was yesterday.

Uh, had a hot substitute in last period today. He was Spanish, or Spanish-descended, seeing as he sounded quite amurican. He looked sort of like he belonged on the cover of a sleazy romance novel, or serving drinks while shirtless on a beach to some rich lonely woman before having sex in the closet. Think Al-Cid (Margrace, because yes, i know his whole name), except looking a little sluttier, but not on purpose. You know?

ANYWAYS.

This had a point, I swear.

OH YEAH I ordered (or got my mother to order, hurr no credit card) some ink. I'm super-excited. Now, if she'd have let me spring the extra two dollars for fastfast shipping, it would have been here tomorrow, but NO. Whatever. Then I will have a follow-up to "Hardest of Hearts (1)" (yeah that 1 was there for a reason). WHEEEEEEE

Then there is, of course, Goodbye Chains, one of the best comics I've ever read in my LIFE.
Gay Commies and cowboys and Banquo White? Oh hell yes.

And lastly (though DEFINITELY not leastly) there's Khaos Komix. They're just like you...well, maybe they're a little gayer, with a little more drama, but hey, it could happen. Just plain awesome, and always entertaining.

The author's summary:
Strange things are always happening in Glory, but for several groups of the city's teens, things are about to get a lot stranger.
